Charter-Yankee Pearl: Duck Island, ME

  • Yankee Fleet 1 Parker Street Gloucester, MA, 01930 United States (map)

Duck Island seal diving offers the potential for some fun sitings and interactions. As you sit quietly watching to see if a seal will swim in front of you, it’s not uncommon to have a curious young pup sneak up from behind and nibble your fins. The best way to see seals is to stay still once you find a comfortable spot. They will come to you if you are patient. Do not try to follow or chase the seals because they will swim away. As with any wild animal, be cautious. They can bite and will.**

Seconn does not rent or provide equipment for this dive. Please make sure you bring everything you will need including 2 tanks and weights. You must have an Advanced Open Water certification to complete this dive. Please plan to arrive to the dock at noon to load for a 1:00 departure. (Give yourself plenty of time for the commute. Traffic to Cape Ann can be heavy.)

Gratuities are not included in the price of the charter. Please tip to the crew directly the day of your trip. Happy Sailing!

**Note: The captain has the right to change locations pending conditions the day of your dive
