Chase Away the Winter Blues!
If you aren’t a fan of cold water diving and have no tropical destinations on the horizon, join fellow divers for a pool session! Held every January, February, and March the pool sessions give you the opportunity to keep your skills sharp, try out new gear or skills, or simply join in some fun with the crew!
SECONN does not provide any gear (aka you have to bring all your own), but the local shops have rentals for anything you might need. Water temp is the pool is around the high 70s and low 80s; most divers use a 3mm.
Entrance is free for current SECONN members and $10 for non-members. A Liability Waiver must be completed before anyone can enter the pool. Waivers may be completed at the pool or you may bring a completed one from home. Only one waiver is needed for all three sessions.
The 2023 Pool Sessions will be held from 10am to 12pm at the UConn Avery Point Pool in Groton, CT
